Welcome to Armeria,

I’m Lydia, the founder and creative spirit behind this floral design studio based in Attleborough. Armeria was born in 2022 from a vision to break free from the conventions of traditional floristry. My goal is to create floral arrangements that are bold, modern, and artistic—designs that go beyond mere decoration to offer a sense of luxury, personality, and authenticity.

My creative journey began at 18, studying Fashion and Textile Design at university. Although I initially pursued a career in fashion, I soon realised it wasn’t for me—especially given the industry’s environmental impact. I later explored roles in marketing and web design, but spending hours in front of a screen didn’t fulfill my creative drive. It was then that I turned to floristry, and with that spark, Armeria was born.

The studio’s name comes from the Armeria maritima, a wildflower that grows along the coastal cliffs of Wales and Cornwall. My first camping trip to Wales at age 26 left a lasting impression, and I vividly remember the beauty of those seaside flowers on the cliffs of Pembrokeshire.

Whether you’re celebrating a wedding, marking a milestone, or hosting a special event, I work closely with you to ensure every petal and stem reflects your story. My approach combines unexpected textures and thoughtfully curated color palettes to transform spaces into something genuinely unforgettable.
